| Two Biennial Venues Open... |
| In case you missed the first two Portland2012 openings at The Art Gym and PDX Across the Hall, this week you have catching up to do. The show at the Art Gym is seven deep, with artists Future Death Toll, Chris Knight, Cynthia Lahti, Ben Killen Rosenberg, Jack Ryan, Marie Sivak and Dustin Zemel. 300 of you came to celebrate the beginning of the three-month Biennial. At PDX Across the Hall, First Thursday kicked-off with large format abstract photographs by Akihiko Miyoshi and Ben Buswell's intricate and process-oriented sculpture and embellished photographs. |

Saturday, March 10: Disjecta Opens with 9 Artists
The walls are prepped and painted and installation has begun for the largest of Portland2012 venues- home base Disjecta, with Erik Geschke, Brian Gillis, Anna Gray & Ryan Wilson Paulsen, Grant Hottle, Hand2Mouth, Arnold J. Kemp, Matt McCormick, Mack McFarland and Susan Seubert.
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 10, 6 to 10 pm
